The Amanat Group initiated its operations with a construction company (Amanat Developers) in 1972. The construction company right from its existence, proved to be a synonym for quality. It was beyond doubt that this company had gained support and honors from the local market. Dealing majorly with the infrastructure projects, it can be said that the founding construction company is much responsible for the elegant modern Lahore that one sees today.
Furthermore, predicting the local real estate boom, Amanat Developers set its firm footsteps in the real estate business. Perfection was achieved in town planning and commercial developments in a short span of time. This company is responsible for the development of several projects that are looked up to as icons of its field.
Thanks to our Agricultural background, which in 1974 led to the formation of rice trading company (MK Food) in Lahore, Pakistan. From the humble scale of the company mainly serving the home market, The Company has now grown into being one of the Major rice Exporters in Pakistan and a truly international company. Today we are involved in the procurement, processing export, marketing and distribution of grain-based products such as rice, pulses (beans, peas, lentils and chickpeas), other speciality grain products and various spices & herbs.

The Amanat Group exports more than 90% of its production to over 30 countries. The customer base is particularly strong in the European Union.
The distribution network spans over most EU countries. The clients are varied and include retail chains, cash & carry outlets, wholesalers, distributors, and packers. It goes all the way up to the Food Service and Industry sectors. Even after all the years The Amanat Group is still a fully family run and owned internationally orientated Group, now having its presence on three continents having production facilities and sales & distribution and is thus
